About Us

The Islamic Educational and Community Center (IECC–HTM) is a registered not-for-profit organization with the State of Washington (UBI #601767433) and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt entity (EIN #81-0677825).

Located (will be) in the heart of Tacoma’s historic Hilltop community, IECC–HTM represents over 35 years of African-American Muslim presence and service in the area. For the first time, we are actively fundraising to acquire a permanent property to serve as our Center and Masjid—Hilltop Masjid (HTM)—God willing.
