For more than forty years, Muslims have worshipped, learned, and served the Tacoma community without a permanent home of their own. Today, we have an opportunity to change that—and we invite you to become part of this historic moment.
The Islamic Education and Community Center – HillTop Masjid (IECC-HTM) is working to purchase a strategically located property in Tacoma’s historic Hilltop neighborhood that will become a permanent center for Islamic education, worship, community development, and interfaith engagement. Together, we can build a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit our children, grandchildren, and generations yet to come.
Our Vision:  To establish a welcoming Islamic Education and Community Center that serves as:
A permanent home for HillTop Masjid
A center for Qur’an and Islamic education
A place for youth development and family programs
A resource for community service and outreach
A bridge for interfaith understanding and neighborhood partnerships

The Property:
Location:  2147–2155 South Martin Luther King Jr. Way Tacoma, Washington
Property Size:    Approximately 14,950 square feet, including an existing residence and additional land for future development.
Phase One:  Purchase the Property
Our immediate goal is to raise: $1,000,000 to secure this property and establish the permanent home of IECC-HillTop Masjid.
Phase Two: Build the Education Center
Once the property is acquired, the vacant portion of the site will be developed into a modern Islamic Education and Community Center that will permanently house HillTop Masjid.
During construction, the existing residence will serve as:
HillTop Masjid
Islamic Education Center
Community meeting space
After the new center is completed, the residence will become an annex providing:
Administrative offices
Meeting space
Potential rental apartments that can help provide ongoing financial support for the Center.
